  2. This package, like all ArcsPacks, is intended for use on systems with
  3. AmigaDOS 2.04 (at least), but preferably AmigaDOS 3.1... For those who
  4. are still stuck using 2.x, I strongly suggest you upgrade to 3.1 due to
  5. some nice features which make packages like this one all the more enjoyable.

  7. The overall purpose of this package is a purely asthetic one. Everyone
  8. knows how incredibly dismal-looking a standard Workbench looks--featureless,
  9. flat, and largely dull. With the advent of MagicWB, MUI, NewIcons, and other
  10. creations, Amiga users have been able to doll-up their systems to a level
  11. beyond anything available on ANY other system.

  13. By utilizing WBPattern (under AmigaDOS 3.x) and NickPrefs (under AmigaDOS
  14. 2.x) its possible to import ANY of these patterns for use with your own
  15. Amiga, with beautiful results.

  17. Give your MUI applications a workover, too, by adding background and button
  18. images to your Global preferences.
  19.  
  20. All around, ArcsPack is a way you can be proud of how your system looks,
  21. by way of including as diverse an array of images, and color selections
  22. as possible. Several variations on a theme are given, for those who
  23. want the *perfect* pattern to suit their tastes.
